Kitsilano Spring Yard Sale Walk

A neighbourhood-wide event where households across the area open a yard sale on the same day.
Wow - we're still thrilled with how the first Yard Sale Walk in Kitsilano went yesterday! The weather turned out perfect, and the streets were full of neighbours and visitors browsing between yards. We even met people who came from Maple Ridge just for the event. Lots of kids out shopping for stuffies and hockey cards, too! Thank you to the 32 households who opened their yards, and to everyone who came out to walk the route. ❤️ This started as an idea inspired by the beloved Munich Hofflohmärkte and turned into a side project. Honestly, we weren't sure if a single seller would sign up. To see over 30 yards participate across the neighbourhood was more than we hoped for. If you know a friend who might be interested in bringing a Yard Sale Walk to their own neighbourhood, ask them to contact Christine or me, or have a look at our Organize page.
